Frequently asked Questions

  • You will be welcomed, and asked to fill out a health history form to let me know about any current or past concerns that might be related to your massage goal for the day.

We will discuss your goals, come up with a plan and then give you a few moments to undress to your comfort level and get situated on the table.

If you have any questions at anytime, please feel free to ask. This is your massage, and you should feel as comfortable and well taken care of as possible.

  • Generally, a full-body massage includes the head, neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, glutes, legs, and feet.

Before I begin your massage, we will discuss your goals and devise a treatment plan for your session. If there are any body parts you don't want to be massaged, please let me know at the start of your appointment.

  • No. You will be asked to undress to your comfort level. I will step out of the room while you are undressing and getting situated under the covers. There are some massage techniques that work with clothes on, these will be discussed at the beginning of your appointment.

  • Yes, please do! This is your massage and I want you to walk away feeling good about your session. I will check in with you a few times throughout the massage, but if at any time the pressure feels uncomfortable to you, please ask for an adjustment, I will not be offended.

  • Generally, people feel relaxed after a massage, but some may experience mild soreness that can last up to a few days. To help ease this soreness drink plenty of water, apply a heating pad, or take a warm to hot bath.

When I first met jenny she was such a ray of sunshine and after going back and forth for a few weeks, I decided to give massage another shot -this time was a little different for me and even more of an intimidating situation because I was approaching my 3rd trimester with my first baby…read more
